TU02 – Expanding Potential with Reclaimed Steel
The TU02 collection redefines industrial reuse by transforming reclaimed square steel tubes from New Laser into lightweight, modular furniture. With over 5,000 linear meters of material recovered, TU02 demonstrates how technical ingenuity and design precision can multiply the value of a single resource.

In partnership with New Laser, a Belgian expert in metal fabrication, we sourced surplus square steel tubes originally left unused from previous production cycles. Rather than treating them as waste, we saw an opportunity to turn these structural elements into the backbone of TU02. To maximize material efficiency, each tube is cut along its edge, generating three to five components per original piece. This innovative approach dramatically increases yield while reducing the carbon impact of new production.

TU02 is designed to be strong, modular, and lightweight. The system uses custom connections and minimal joints, reducing the need for additional hardware. Every component is powder-coated (thermolaqué) for enhanced resistance and a clean, refined finish suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The minimalist design emphasizes flexibility — pieces can adapt to diverse settings such as hybrid workspaces, terraces, or public areas — embodying durability without visual heaviness.

All metal parts are precisely cut, shaped, and powder-coated in Belgium, following a strict zero-waste approach. By repurposing existing steel and optimizing every linear meter, TU02 drastically reduces the need for new metal extraction while maintaining full structural performance. The process blends industrial precision with circular efficiency, creating a sustainable production model that values both innovation and responsibility.

Steel tube - New Laser
In collaboration with New Laser, a metal fabrication expert based in St. Vith, Belgium, we recovered more than 5,000 meters of square steel tubes — a dormant stock from their workshop. What once stood unused has become a foundation for new pieces, proving that existing materials can drive both creativity and sustainability.

HPL panels - Trespa
In collaboration with Trespa, a Dutch leader in high-pressure laminate (HPL) panels, we upcycle materials that either don’t meet certification standards or are recovered from dismantled buildings.
Through their Trespa Second Life Program, which aims to recover and repurpose 300,000 square meters of panels by 2030, we gain access to a consistent supply of high-quality panels in various colors and thicknesses.
