In collaboration with LIGNA systems, a wood construction specialist based in Sankt Vith, Belgium, we recovered 500 m² of 4 cm-thick birch plywood, a unused stock from their production. What was once left unused has become a key material in our collections, turning surplus into substance and giving new purpose to existing resources.

In collaboration with New Laser, a metal fabrication expert based in St. Vith, Belgium, we recovered more than 5,000 meters of square steel tubes — a dormant stock from their workshop. What once stood unused has become a foundation for new pieces, proving that existing materials can drive both creativity and sustainability.

We partnered with Arbony, a high-quality Belgian wooden flooring company with over 20 years of expertise in crafting authentic wooden floors. Together, we maximize the value of their waste by revalorizing up to 4000 linear meters of semi-solid oak flooring offcuts annually.

In collaboration with Carrières de Maffle, a historic stone quarry with a legacy of craftsmanship dating back to 1886, we repurpose discarded blue stone offcuts that would otherwise be wasted. These stone remnants—often considered imperfect due to fractures, crusts, or irregularities—are transformed into integral elements of our designs, preserving their natural beauty and avoiding the need to downcycle them into gravel.

We partnered with New Laser, a metal fabrication expert based in St. Vith, Belgium. Through this collaboration, we had the opportunity to revalorize a dead stock of 1,200 meters of unused stainless steel tubing, transforming surplus materials into integral elements of our designs and reducing waste and unnecessary CO2 emissions.

In collaboration with Trespa, a Dutch leader in high-pressure laminate (HPL) panels, we upcycle materials that either don’t meet certification standards or are recovered from dismantled buildings.

Through their Trespa Second Life Program, which aims to recover and repurpose 300,000 square meters of panels by 2030, we gain access to a consistent supply of high-quality panels in various colors and thicknesses.

We partner with Acacia Poles to source FSC-certified acacia timber, ensuring responsible and sustainable use of surplus wood. Known for its strength and versatility, acacia is a hybrid material suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it an ideal choice for durable and long-lasting designs.

Eco-impact provides an independent platform for measuring, certifying, and transparently communicating the environmental impact of products. By verifying materials, sourcing, and production processes, Eco-impact enables brands to demonstrate their sustainability efforts, empowering consumers to make informed, eco-conscious choices. We certify the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of every product and report the eco-impact based on the French market. Currently, only the WD 01 and ST 01 are certified.

Our products are crafted with upcycled acacia wood and FSC-certified oak plywood, ensuring responsible sourcing from sustainably managed forests. The FSC label guarantees that these materials support environmental, social, and economic benefits, empowering consumers to make eco-conscious choices.

The Trespa Second Life Program is dedicated to sustainability, focusing on repurposing high-quality panels to extend their lifecycle and reduce CO2 emissions. Our TU and TP 01 collections utilize these panels, showcasing innovative designs while promoting a circular economy by transforming repurposed materials into versatile applications like bike sheds and storage solutions.

In September 2025, we had the pleasure of taking part in Maison & Objet for the very first time. A major milestone for our brand and our commitment to responsible design.

We presented our two new collections, TU02 and WD02, which reflect our vision of sustainable, contemporary furniture. Each collection combines refined craftsmanship, timeless aesthetics, and a mindful approach to materials and production.

This first participation was a great opportunity to connect with designers, architects, and industry professionals, and to share our belief that design can be both beautiful and sustainable.

Duos en Résonances is an exhibition that aims to strengthen the dialogue between craft and design. From molded glass wafers to embroidery based on a computer-generated pattern. The exhibition Duos en Résonances features the work of 6 designers and 6 artisans.

Duos en Résonances is a project created in 2017. For six months, six duos of craft artists and designers work on the development of a joint project or idea. The designer gets to work directly with an expert in materials and techniques. In turn, the artisan discovers a different approach or working method that challenges him to step outside his daily professional practice.

We participated in Cycles of Design at Wonder Fest in Kortrijk, UNESCO City of Design. From October 17 to November 3, 2024, this exhibition, organized by Designregio Kortrijk as part of CICO, will showcase pioneering circular design cases that contribute to a sustainable future.

A great initiative that explores innovative approaches and local initiatives shaping tomorrow’s design landscape.

Renewal is an innovative event that explores the potential of sustainable design in shaping a better future. A multifaceted initiative featuring eco-designer works, a material library, conferences, talks and workshops. Renewal delves into how sustainable, re/upcycled, and bio-based materials can contribute to a circular economy.

It aims to inspire a responsible and sustainable approach to design, encouraging creativity that prioritizes environmental stewardship.

We presented future hospitality concepts in Lionel Jadot’s 2024 space, featuring over 10 designers dedicated to sustainable and circular practices. This unique space merges craftsmanship, upcycling, and collaboration, reflecting Jadot’s bold vision that redefines hospitality design.

From June 16 to 19, 2024, Oslo hosted an economic mission presided over by H.R.H. Princess Astrid of Belgium. This event marked an important milestone in the economic and cultural relations between Belgium and Norway.

For its second appearance at the Milan Design Week, Zaventem Ateliers is set to captivate attendees once again, presenting under Baranzate Ateliers in an all-new venue in April 2024. Strategically located just 5 minutes away from the airport, the exhibition aims to draw in a global audience, anticipating the participation of 10,000 visitors from around the world.

This year’s program boasts a lineup of 35 studios, including 15 specially curated guests handpicked by Zaventem Ateliers. The expansive 7.300 square meters of exhibition space promises to be a hub of creativity and innovation.
