Holy Bagels - European Quarter

A fast-good bagel spot bringing colour to a European Quarter terrace

In the European Quarter, Holy Bagels brings its fast-good take on bagel culture to a neighbourhood usually built for quick lunches and little else. The brand started small: an American bagel lover and a baker raised around coffee fields in Cameroon, serving fresh bagels from a bike around Brussels before settling into bricks and mortar. For this location, we furnished the outdoor terrace, the part of the restaurant built for staying a little longer than a normal lunch break allows.

TP01 stools, a TU02 bistro table and TU02 benches were selected for the terrace, set against a wall that needed a little more life. To brighten things up, Holy Bagels mixed our orange with our cream white, a combination that turns the wall from an afterthought into part of the setting.

Fast-good and slow-made furniture might sound like an odd pairing, but the terrace says otherwise: proof that a quick bite doesn't have to mean a forgettable one.
