ST01

The collection focuses on the revalorization of two materials: stone and metal. This collection of lighting fixtures embodies circularity, elegance, and functionality, bringing new life to overlooked materials.

In collaboration with Carrières de Maffle, a historic stone quarry that has been crafting stone since 1886, we repurpose discarded blue stone offcuts that would otherwise go to waste. These stone remnants—often deemed imperfect due to fractures, crusts, or irregularities—are transformed into a key element of our designs, avoiding the need to downcycle them into gravel.

Additionally, we partner with New Laser, a metal fabrication expert based in St. Vith, Belgium. This company generates surplus and unused inox tube elements, which we incorporate into the collection, reducing waste and unnecessary CO2 emissions.

By combining these previously overlooked materials, including 1,200 meters of stainless steel tubing and carefully selected stone offcuts, the ST01 collection takes shape. A range of 10 lighting fixtures launched in early 2024.

The ST01 collection is proudly certified by Eco-impact, ensuring that each piece meets the highest environmental and quality standards, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and responsible design.

For this residential project, we delivered three types of stone lamps: Solo, Duo, and Wall Lamp. The goal was to create a contrast between the warmth of the wood ambiance and the cool, grey tones of our stone.
