The New Me - Ixelles, Brussels

A Reformer Pilates studio that doubles as your neighbourhood coffee stop

The New Me chose Ixelles for one of its first studios in Brussels, bringing its Reformer Pilates concept to the city along with something just as central to the experience: a proper coffee corner. Sober and considered, the space pairs the discipline of the studio with a relaxed café area built for landing before a class or lingering after one.

It's the first time our PLY01 collection takes the lead in a project, and The New Me felt like the right place to introduce it. The café area was furnished with TU02 stools and table, paired with PLY01 chairs in cream. Mixed in with the rest of the selection, the pieces form one coherent space for sharing a coffee before or after a session.

A space built for movement and a space built for pausing both deserve furniture that holds its own quietly. Bringing TU02 and PLY01 together here gave the café its own identity within the studio, a small, considered counterpoint to the energy of the class next door.
